      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cisco in Jun 2021

      Interview

The interview process consisted of three phone calls, the initial one was a short talk with a talent recruiter who told me about the interview process and asked me about my work preferences (remote/on-site). She then scheduled a meeting for me to talk to a team lead in the department. This next phone call consisted of an overview of the department goals and objectives. Then I talked a bit about myself and my goals. Lastly, there will be a coding round.

Started with the usual tell me about your work history then straight into the major grilling on cisco dc. Just make sure you know everything there is to about nexus and aci.

      Question 1

In aci how do you route between vrf in ACI? What are the benefits of VPC? How do troubleshoot input buffer overload? How do you design an ACI network from scratch? Have you ever used application centric mode? Can epg communicate with each other?

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cisco (Milpitas, CA) in Apr 2015

      Interview

Great experience. Spoke to the team lead. Very laid back guy. Asked about my experiences, how I can help the team, where I see myself in a few years. Very friendly and welcoming personality. This is how most of the people I met and work with come off. Few are standoffish or awkward as some people expect.
