I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cisco (Boston, MA) in Sept 2013
Interview
Cisco was one of the companies at my college career fair. I met them there and dropped a resume. Within a few days, they contacted me to schedule an on campus interview. The interview was limited to an hour and involved standard questions about a project or team experience and then a few technical questions.

Question 1
They asked about my projects and how it can apply to their job.
It wasn't bad. The questions were fairly easy and the time given was generous. The first part involves an online interview where they ask the programming questions followed then by some technical and behavioral questions.
I applied online and didn't hear back for a few months, got an update in December to check if I was still interested in the position. Interviewed in February, it was a Webex interview of forty-five minutes.
