First, I participated in an ideathon that included questions on Computer Networks, DBMS, Python, Cybersecurity, and aptitude, along with a dynamic programming question. It was quite challenging to tackle. This was followed by a technical round where I was asked about OSI layers, IPv4 vs. IPv6, TCP vs. UDP, network devices, Linux commands, operating systems, as well as my projects and internships. Next came the managerial round, where I faced situation-based questions, testing my problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Finally, in the HR round, I was asked about my willingness to relocate and my future plans. Despite performing well in all rounds, I wasn’t shortlisted for the role, and I’m still uncertain about the reason.

Thorough interview process, beginning with a deep technical interview about my experience and expertise, followed by a managers interview about higher level topics. After 2 interviews I was given an offer which I accepted. Previous interview experiences with Cisco were similar, with just the interviewers being different.
