Met a recruiter at a job fair and submitted my resume both in person at the fair and over email. After a couple exchanges, I was handed off to other members of the recruiting team. All of our interactions were great. The first person emailed me to schedule a call - I responded twice, and didn't hear back until a week after the initial email. We were to have a brief call that evening, and I sat there waiting for a call that never came. I responded the following day to put something on the calendar, and offered availability for the entire next week. There was no more response from that person. Two weeks later, an assistant contacted me to set up a call. I gave my availability for the entire week, and I was scheduled for an afternoon call. I replied to confirm the time, and to ask for additional details. Again, I sat there and waited for a call that never came. I replied the following day to reaffirm my interest in the position despite all of this, and to try to schedule another call. There has not been a response from this individual again. Overall a terrible experience, with very little information given to me at every stage of communication after the initial conversation. Every one of my replies requesting additional information or confirmation of calls were met with silence. I wasted time preparing for conversations and waiting for calls that never came.
