I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at City Year (New York, NY) in Jun 2016
Interview
phone call with about 15 questions that have already been described by others on here. You can also do an in person interview. She asked me questions by phone and then wrote them down after I answered them. The delay between questions can throw some people but she made me feel comfortable. Over phone interview, i was unable to discern if my responses were being judged positively.
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
