I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at City Year (New York, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
I submitted an online application which requires me to choose a service location, and provided spaces for information that included preferred name, among other categories. The provided literature describes the role in some detail and outlined company values. The onboarding process was tedious and the company was often out of contact between offer and start date.
Very simple. Quick virtual interview and pretty simple questions. Research their values and what not and you should be good to go. As far as I remember it was a single interview and decision is relatively soon after that.
Really friendly and welcoming. Try to make it as comfortable as possible and share about the work they do. They want to ensure applicants are making the right decisions and that they assess the values.

Interview
Done over zoom and not an overly long process interviews are usually conducted by the IM for a school in the city you are applying for but if you have a pulse you should be fine
