Interview
I had an interview scheduled through a recruiter for a contract-to-hire role. The offered salary was quite low, but I decided to check it out anyway. There were two interviewers — a technical lead and a senior software engineer. From the beginning, their approach felt more like a challenge than an effort to understand what I could bring to the team, which made me lose interest after just a few questions. One of them didn’t even turn on their video and doesn’t have a LinkedIn profile (possibly overemployed).

Stay away if you consider yourself a good engineer and looking for a company with a good working culture.
Extremely low pay and the interviewer seemed totally uninterested, I definitely will not want to work on a daily basis in such environment.
HR needed the background filter to be removed from my video. They wanted a pic of me holding my license against the camera. Everything about the process felt meh.
