      Software Engineer Interview

      25 Dec 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Clark Associates (New York, NY) in Jun 2017

      Interview

I applied online and received an email the next day from the hiring manager. Hiring manager said that my salary expectations weren't what they saw for someone with my experience. Their salary range was average for entry level for the Tampa area (may be even below). I had already received offers for higher and talk to recruiters so I know the market well. Unfortunately we couldn't agree and we left it at that (didn't move on with another interview. Hiring manager was very professional about it and I appreciated that. That being said, the company seems to be trying to hire engineers for the low.

      Software Engineer Interview

      1 Sept 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Tampa, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Clark Associates (Tampa, FL) in Dec 2016

      Interview

Was relaxed all the time, one phone call, on site interview and another phone call, the managers were pretty nice in the interview and they really care about engineers with strong foundations instead of knowing a particular technology.

GoF patterns, SOLID principles, given a semi complete application, add the missing classes/interfaces and implement some empty methods.
