I applied online. I interviewed at Clark Public Utilities (Vancouver, WA) in Feb 2026
Interview
I applied mid January and got my first interview early February. Standard panel interview with 4 people and around 6 questions focused on your work experience and background. The interview was enjoyable and conversational. I had time afterwards to ask questions and they told me what the hiring timeline would be. I received a rejection letter about 3 days later. I appreciated the prompt decision but feel that they may have already had someone in mind for the position by the time I got the chance to interview.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Clark Public Utilities (Vancouver, WA) in Jun 2022
Interview
Worked with internal recruiter for the first interview. Then to schedule a panel interview, this consisted of over 5 people as a first interview it was overwhelming.
Job description was not forthcoming, so you had to interview blind to know what kind of questions to be prepared for.
Then a second panel interview, and then a third panel interview.

Question 1
All 'tell me about a time when'. And literally nothing else. There were 6-7 'Tell me about a time when'. Almost like they were reading from a script. And a really bad movie script that was rejected and not made into a movie.
