I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Clear Books plc (London, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day with two types of tests. A psychometric test which included Numerical & Verbal/non-verbal reasoning and a programming test to build a simple php app without the use of frameworks.
Apart from this, they asked about my previous experiences developing systems while adhering to SOLID-Principles and the use of TDD, with very high expectation or emphasis on TDD adaptation. Other interview related topics were around previous experiences in adapting agile development methodology for the projects
All in all the company had a healthy culture from what I gathered in the interview, however, the location and their office building was a let down for me, as their office can technically be considered a basement, but now people refer to it as Lower Ground (LG).
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Clear Books plc (London, England) in Sept 2015
Interview
They were very basic. Didnt seem to know much about marketing and sales.. Very young and inexperienced team. Very scrappy. All very junior and trying to pump me for information, tips, etc about former employers, etc. Nice people though.
