One interview with HR and hiring manager and another with the VP, standard questioning and nothing out of the ordinary. Process too place over a week.
Where the issue starts for me is their process post interview. I learned that after they did not offer the position they had someone with more experience in directly what they are looking for in a candidate, which is fine.
But they dragged the process on for two weeks and made me complete a background check and provide three references to them, with no communication after that. All along I was just a backup plan for them and got strung along accordingly. Terrible, terrible hiring practices in a day and age where reputations matter and candidates can be choosy. Not sure when this company will join the 21st century and treat candidates like people.
