Done remotely, in a group and then individually. Then, asked to take a Dewey decimal system written test which is super easy. Management is very nice, easy-going, and helpful during the entire process.
All three managers will briefly interview you, then you will fill out a short worksheet to show that you can accurately sort books both alphabetically and numerically. You will not need to know anything about the Dewey Decimal System beyond what order the example numbers should go in. Managers are calm and friendly, and questions are all relevant to the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
**I actually don't remember what the questions were as it's been a little while since my interview, but they were few in number, relevant to the position, and almost conversational in nature**
I applied online. I interviewed at Clinton-Macomb Public Library (Clinton Township, MI) in Feb 2021
Interview
They asked about 5-10 questions max. All three management heads were there. Overall a super chill and easy-going experience. All managers were friendly. More like a conversation than an interview.
