I applied online. I interviewed at Co-op (Brighton, England)
Interview
Fairly relaxed interview, questions about why you want to work there, what you've been doing over the last few years and then "can you tell me about a time..." questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What have you been doing for the past few years? Why would you like to work for Co-op? Can you tell me about a situation where you had to build a relationship at work? Can you tell me about a time when you had to stand up for your position in a difficult situation? Can you tell me about a time when you had to communicate important information to other people at work? Can you tell me about a time where you've involved others to discuss a challenge? Can you tell me about a time when you've taken ownership of a task/activity/project and made it a success?
Very impersonal. All done online and the logic between what constitutes a good or bad answer is totally unidentifiable. You would have better luck turning up in person and asking if you can hand in your CV and interview in person instead!

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Co-op (Bournemouth, England) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process was very easy and straightforward. The interviewer was kind and made it feel more like a friendly, comfortable conversation than a formal interview. As well as one of the best interviews I've actually had.
