I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CoSentry (Saint Louis, MO) in Jun 2012
Interview
I had a single interview with two of the guys in charge of the engineers. The head of engineering seems intense at first, but I got a sense half way through that he's a good guy (I got the job and can confirm he's not anywhere near that intensity). It was a pretty relaxed conversation just to make sure not only that I fit with the company, but to make sure the company fit for me as well.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CoSentry (Columbia, MO) in Mar 2014
Interview
Lengthy, seven individuals interviewed me over a three month period. Began with phone interviews that ranged from 15 min. to over an hourly. That process involved HR, COO, CSO, two vp level officers and some who would later become my peers in other divisions. In total, this process comprised over 3 months of interviews, testing, visits, tours, background checks, etc.
