I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CoStar Group (London, England)
Interview
There was an initial phone interview with an internal recruiter, who established how my skills and experience fit with the job. They actively promoted the role and the company, which was pivotal in my decision to move forward with the role. There was then a face to face interview with a highly experienced member of the research team, who tested my ability to perform the role and how my experience matched the requirements. After success in this interview I was invited to a face to face interview with the Research Director who expected a deeper understanding of the role and how I would adapt to the demands of the role. Very thorough and enjoyable.
I applied online. I interviewed at CoStar Group (Richmond, VA)
Interview
Extremely lengthy. 4 stages over about 2 months. Panel interview that took 6 hours. One panelist did not show and added another interview stage. Due to length, I found a better offer and declined after finally getting to an offer.

Basic interview, that lasted one or two instances. Shadowed researcher and made some calls with the interviewer. The whole process was quick and lasted less than a month, average difficulty overall for the process.
