I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Codingal
Interview
The hiring process had 3 rounds — an assignment, a technical interview, and a final discussion with the CEO. Compensation was quite low considering the effort involved. They expected interns to continue full-time immediately after 6 months, which wasn’t clearly communicated upfront. My profile was moved forward despite not matching that criterion, which led to wasted time on both ends. Overall, polite communication but poor screening and transparency.

Question 1
Round 1 - Create a web app that maps user moods (like happy, sad, angry) to emojis.
Offered a 20k/mo stipend for the on-site role. The interviewer was quite experienced, but didn't appreciate newer approaches to marketing strategies. He expected fixed and short answers to the questions asked without much space for interpretation
