I had a very positive experience with Cognyte’s interview process. The company operates in an exciting environment, particularly due to its work—making the world a safer place.
The process was thorough and took some time, but the discussions with various stakeholders were highly valuable and gave me great insight into the role and the company culture. Overall, a professional and well-structured experience that reflects Cognyte’s mission and values.

Question 1
Describe a situation where a customer’s expectations were misaligned with the product capabilities. How did you resolve it?

Interview
I went throught 3 interviews - first by phone with HR just to see if you understand and are able to speak english. And other two with future manager and its team.
First meeting was general and aimed just to generate empathy. Second one wanted to explore technical skills - they asked me to prepare a presentation and send it prior meeting. Then, two people evaluate presentation and tech aspects on it.
After all theses steps i received no answer or feedback from it. It is a shame and also sad that companies misstreat you that way. Very very unprofisional way to deal with hiring process and people.
