The recruitment process is absurdly intensive. I completely understand having a rigorous review process internally, but from the candidate perspective, it's a full time job with no guaranteed payoff. I spent in total over 7 hours in interviews, presentations, personality assessments, and preparing for all of those. After being told the work trial was the final step in the process, I had a surprise sixth interview added to my schedule. After that, I was asked by my recruiter to REDO MY RESUME to be a "better format" and make sure it precisely matched my LinkedIn, and then asked to pull analytics on my previous roles and how I quantitatively improved our processes. I should've been asked these questions in the EXTENSIVE interview process and I certainly shouldn't be doing the recruiter's job for her by reformatting a resume she can do herself. I've never had a recruitment process put this much onus on the candidate rather than the recruitment team that actually gets paid to do this. Unprofessional, and I certainly won't be recommending Coinbase as an employer to anyone who asks.
