Recruiter phone screen, hiring manager interview, panel interview + presentation. I was notified after I passed the hiring manager interview of the presentation prompt and panel interviews were scheduled over two days.
In my first panel interview, I was asked specific questions about my current organizations (strategy, metrics, etc.) It made me feel very uncomfortable because I felt like I was put in a position of divulging confidential information and that goes against my values. I did my best to answer the questions of "in my opinion" or "I don't know" to avoid sharing any confidential information, which made me feel like it was not a productive interview on either side.
The interview felt like it was focused on what my current organization was doing versus how my skills and expertise would bring value to the role and company. Honestly, that really threw me off for the remaining interviews and made me lose interest in proceeding further because I felt like my values were being compromised.
I finished the remaining panel interviews that day (since they were back to back) and then emailed the recruiter to notify them of my withdrawal and the above reasoning. This was not a positive experience.
