I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Collins Aerospace (Sat home) in Oct 2021
Interview
Off-campus hiring, got the mail from my college about the interview a few days prior, gave an online test round before that which mostly tested quantitative and verbal aptitude. The process was a little inconvenient since the interviewer was 40 minutes late, at which point I was about to leave.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Before I began, I applied for the electronic circuit role, and software development was my 3rd priority, I was asked questions about C, which was tough because I had knowledge of Python, Java, and C++, and nowhere in my CV did I mention C.
1. Intro
2. What are the stages of compiling in a C program.
3. What are the storage classes in C.
4. A simple programming question: how would you check if a number is a power of 2.
5. Do you know what bitwise operators are? (probably because I didn't use bitwise operators while solving q4).
6. Do you have any questions for me?
