3 rounds. Hiring process begins with 1. background interview followed by 2. virtual interview with hiring manager and 3. final panel discussion.
After the 2nd round I was told there were just a couple of other candidates being interviewed and would be contacted "early next week". I was then ghosted and had to ask for status update the week after "early next week" and was told by Collins HR recruiter that per the hiring manager they were not sure if I was interested in the position. Then one month later was reached out by hiring manager and asked if I was still interested, which I was. Had a roundtable with 5 employees, interview went well, I was excited by the prospect of working with the team and was told by the hiring manager it was a positive experience for them as well. Was told again I would be contacted "early next week" and was once again ghosted.
Had an interview with this company in 2018 where I was one of several applicants and when I wasn't selected I was still called back by the hiring manager in which he briefly explained why I wasn't selected, true professional and the reason i would still consider working for Collins.
In this current situation I was 1 of "a couple candidates" and was ghosted twice. I don't expect rejection callbacks when I'm one of many that have interviewed, but when I'm one of "a couple candidates" I do expect some form of communication.
