I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Columbia Gas Transmission (Charleston, WV) in Mar 2015
Interview
I got called by two different representatives for different interview cycles within the same company interview cycles for two jobs within the same company at the same time, which seemed weird but I get their a big company. It was a little confusing at times, but I got to see a I think 3 or 4 different phone interviews yet I'll only describe the process for the position I turned down.
First call general HR stuff, very nice personable just trying to get a feel for you and get you to speak and also schedule a real interview.
The second call (first interview) was with an unknown number of people (4-6) because there were so many on the conference call it was a little scary but again they were all friendly and seemed to understand it may be a little uncomfortable for shyer people. At times it felt like they were catching themselves up on matters in the company rather then interviewing me which I was fine with.
The second interview was the same thing really as the first just more questions directly related to the job and why I wanted to do it which ironically I didn't. After the interview I got a call a few weeks later offering me the intership at I think 23-25/hr and 2500 dollars to move out of town for the summer, it was a good offer but I didn't wanna spend my summer doing field work in the middle of nowhere when what I really wanted to do was something more in CS.
