I initially had a phone screen, which went well; I passed and was moved to a video interview, where I spoke with two directors. I was under the impression that I had a great interview experience, answering all questions asked very confidently and asking questions they did not anticipate about the position, only to be strung along for almost 3 weeks without an update until I reached out on a follow-up email with the recruiter, who responded with a generic rejection email. I did notice a red flag much later that the position was reposted with higher qualifications two days before I had a second interview with them, for which I was a 75% fit. On further research, I also realized that the organization is not diverse in origins at all (stay away if you are). The experience post-interview experience left a wrong impression of the organization. The final interview would have been with the CEO of the organization. The candidate's time was not respected here; nobody likes to be strung along in limbo, waiting to see if they were moved to a final round.
