I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Compass (Oakland, CA) in Jul 2022
Interview
Very lengthy and weird hiring process. It took 3 weeks to be interviewed by 4 people. They had little to no enthusiasm, hardly cracked a smile and seemed bored out of their minds. My gut feeling leaned toward not interviewing at all, I should have listened.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself
Why real estate?
What skills do you bring to the table?
I interviewed for the same company with for two different positions about three weeks from each other. The first time I interviewed didn't get past the phone screening and received the rejection email.
My most recent interview I got past a phone screening and talked to two associate managers. I got the same exact rejection email legit copied and pasted from another recruiter. How am I supposed to know what I did wrong? And when asked for feedback, l'm ghosted.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Compass in Jan 2025
Interview
Four round interview with a recruiter, direct manager, promoted peer, and operations partner, showcasing cross-functional alignment, mutual respect, organic conversation, and a real sense of how I’d lead, collaborate, and execute in the role.
3 rounds, the interview process was with the current aec, manager, and sales manager. All in 1 day, back to back, virtual. Not a ton of behavior questions, but asks about your job history.
