I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Compass (Los Angeles, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
First round was standard phone interview screening with recruiter. Second round was Google meet with two team members. Essentially, the same interview twice. Questions were scenario based leaning on specific examples in past work history and more negatively framed than I anticipated. Answers were typed. One team member paused interview to respond to a message coming in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about a time you made a mistake. Have you ever had a disagreement with a manager? What sets you apart from other candidates? What is your understanding of this role?
Intense for what the job is.. 3 rounds are not necessary. If you have customer service skills you can do this job. It's entry level - they act like you are a C-suite executive.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you went above and beyond a customer?
Very lengthy process with a lot of behavioral based questions. Be sure to have a base knowledge on real estate and the industry itself. It would also help to have a customer success background.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you had to calm down an upset individual?
I had 4 interviews. Very long and tedious process. Most employees had at least 4 interviews as well and I think a couple had 5. There were all very customer service/real estate based questions but why so many interviews?
