I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Competitive Energy Services (Portland, ME) in Apr 2018
Interview
after an informational phone interview with an employee, I was invited for an in-person interview, in which a small panel of interviewers asked me a series of questions in a group conversation about my qualifications/experience.
When I got to the office, there was no one there to receive me for about 10 minutes. I had to wander around to find someone to let them know I was there for an interview. After the interview was over, I said my goodbyes to the interviewing team, and there was no mention of when they would get back to me. Two weeks after the in-person interview, I had to email the director myself to ask about the status of my application to get a decision.

Question 1
Describe a time you where you had to overcome a challenge
Telephone screening by company president. Referred for interview by two VP's. Courteous interview but they were clearly unsure of what they were looking for in the position; much skepticism of applicant that was unconnected to the job as described. Emailed them after a month of no contact from them, received response that they were still considering things. Never heard from them again.

Question 1
Comment/question: "Looks like relocating for this job would be difficult for you..." Not difficult to answer, just came out of left-field, indicating scattershot skepticism.
