Computer Staff interview questions

Interviewer talked up his "client" and said what a great fit he thought I was for the company based on my resume. Then he asked my salary expectations, and I gave a number slightly higher than my actual target (because why undersell myself?). Rather than come back with a counter figure like any reasonable person, he instead decides to berate me and talk down my experience, and prod me to give him a lower figure rather than just state a range himself. That was the end of our conversation. This is the most unprofessional recruiter I've had the displeasure of speaking to, and that is a pretty low bar already.

I couldn't even get past the recruiter. I called just to get some info about the position (because there are some details missing from the job posting) and the guy was the most rude individual I've had the displeasure of talking to. Do not do business with companies like this. If they are willing to treat you like scum from the first phone call, they will certainly cut every corner they can to make your employment as miserable as possible. Not to mention they're offering $10/hour for a JUNIOR WEB DEVELOPER. In-n-out pays $15/hour! For flipping burgers! I mean seriously, I genuinely think the person I talked to was drunk or something. I was trying to be nice and polite but from the moment he answered the call, everything he said had an attitude and was just rude without reason.
