      Product Manager Interview

      29 Mar 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Kyiv, Kyiv
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Conductor (Kyiv, Kyiv) in Mar 2019

      Interview

I have passed 2 interview stages here: HR and some manager. Firstly, I've been interview by Kiev HR. It was a short call for basic screening purpose. Then we have scheduled the call with US-based manager of the product direction I have been interviewing for. It lasts for 30mins and consists of my experience presentation and product feature explanation. That all. I've got a negative response from HR a few days later. No clear reasons or response explanation was provided to me. Any attempt to request their decision clarification was unsuccessful.

      Product Manager Interview

      29 Dec 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Conductor (New York, NY) in Sept 2017

      Interview

I had a phone interview - and then my role was changed based on the needs of the company. I had a great conversation and was very excited to move on to the next stage but they let me know before my interview date that they really needed to fill a different role first. I felt that they were very respectful of me in that process and appreciated that a different need was larger. I would happily consider interviewing with them again.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The questions were probing - a lot of the interview felt like if my answer didn't line up I'd be taken off their list. I personally prefer the tough part to be in the first interview or so and the later ones to be a check on my skillset and personality fit for the team
