The interview process was straightforward and fast. The first interview was conducted by the head of the sales team and it was mostly conversational, getting to know one another. After that I visited the headquarters in Oak Brook, IL where I had the chance to meet the rest of the organization's leadership and some of the people I would be working with. The people I interviewed with were not going through typical interview questions, rather, they were asking about my background and worked to help me understand what the role would entail.
I was impressed during the interview process with how focused everyone was on making sure that me joining the team would be a cultural fit within the organization. Many other interviews are incredibly regimented and conducted from a checklist, Configure One was a welcome change from those experiences.
Within a week of the interview I was offered the position and accepted.
