I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ConstructConnect in Jan 2025
Interview
Standard screen. Offered to continue but I declined and bowed out before further round. Why? Because I thought I would have been immensely bored at this company and I'm burned out of marketing work in general which generally consists of the the next chaotic idea of the week with no tangible vision, budget, or long term end goal outside of metric X of the week.
The recruiter I worked with was pleasant. No complaints. They did however indicate they were looking to merge websites etc and after looking at them they looked poorly built with markedly lacking QA and most of my career has been doing repair jobs of other people's sloppy work (see prior) and I personally just didn't want to deal with another mess.
Frankly, I could have just taken the role and moonlight it for an easy extra 140 a year but I didn't think even that was worth the squeeze
From what I recall the benefits were decent
