Strange process. I was initially contacted by an HR recruiter seeking to fill a Technical Recruiter position. We’ve had maybe about 2 conversations where we discussed my work history and the types of positions I’ve filled then she requested to bring me in for an in-person. Right away, office culture seemed ominous and odd. The people I interacted with in office seemed disingenuous and robotic even, as if they are micromanaged. I met with 2 recruiters and their CHRO I believe and it wasn’t a positive experience. The CHRO didn’t really open the floor to allow me to introduce myself, my qualifications or background, just jumped right into behavioral questions and attempted to intimidate me. She even mocked me, one question caught me off guard and I requested a moment to reflect/think of a specific time, she told the other interviews once they joined in that I “needed time to think” sarcastically. Long story short, this was not a company or leader that I’d be interested in working for based on the on-site interview experience. Never heard from them again thankfully.
