Cordis interview questions

Really unprofessional recruiter. Asked me what times I’m available for an initial phone interview, I replied in 10 minutes with my availability and no reply. Three days go by so I followed up with an email letting recruiter know I’m still available anytime for an interview and still no reply. I looked at the applicant portal and it says I’m no longer under consideration. Is it that hard to say they went with someone else despite telling a candidate they’d like to interview them and ghosting them?

Contacted via recruiter, had an introductory interview. Went forward to interview with hiring manager. Following interview with hiring manager, progressed into about a 4 hour team interview with multiple team members and conversations.
