Submitted application online and HR followed up not too long after. Scheduled on-site interview met with VP of IT Dept. and given tour of facilities. Told they would follow up by end of the week or early part of the next. However, the next steps were not communicated within the given time frame.
Several weeks passed and then told they were still hiring for position but it’s on hold due to a site audit. Told later during the week they did some reorganization within the company. Now the posted Network Support Technician positions they had available were being absorbed by existing team.
This should have been discussed by the leadership team before the job was posted and several individuals having been interviewed.
