Interview
This was a terrible interview process that should show you insight into what the management style of the company would be like. Every interview was at least 5 minutes late to the call due to 'technical difficulties'. 4 rounds of interviews, the first was a screening call where the interviewer was late and unprepared and asked very basic questions. The second round was a 1.5 hour micromanagement style deep dive into your entire work history, listing out all your responsibilities, and every manager that you have worked for including spelling out their names. Third round was another one sided bombardment of questions dissecting your resume and work history to essential validate what you had mentioned in the previous interview. When finally given the time to ask questions, their response to "what KPIs would someone in this role be measured on?" was "hustle and grit". I had to explicitly ask twice for them to clarify for them to provide that the number of dials you make and the number of policies you sell are the determining factors. Also, in the first round interview, the manager stated that there would be no cold calling as they received numerous inbound requests daily and so my main responsibility would be to field those calls and requests. The third round interview went into detail about how most of the day would be spent doing cold call outreach to new potential clients that they do not provide lead sheets for. All around, I got a sense of what the company culture would be like if the interviews themselves were this faulty.
