Better to be jobless than to join this company. For a developer role, they had 2 rounds. The first round was a 5 hour coding assignment that had to be done in one go, with screen sharing and the webcam on the whole time. On completion, the second round was scheduled.
The second round was a 2 hour discussion and it was terrible. The panel asked unusual Java and Spring questions that developers never use in real work. Very few questions from the actual job description tech stack was asked. In the middle of the interview, pm suddenly joined and started asking very hard SQL questions to assert dominance and act superior.
8 hours of total time was wasted only to face rejection. Interviews with 8 other decent companies could have be done instead of wasting a large amount of time here.
The whole process felt unorganized, rude and unprofessional. Honestly, it appeared like the employee are only staying in this unpleasant company because it is located in hometown Goa, not because the company is good or anything.
