I applied to the Corporate Sales Internship on my schools career website and then on the Credit Agricole website. I then scheduled a phone interview, which was pretty basic and mostly behavioral. The interviewer was bland and did not know much about the company or internship; she could not answer basically any questions I asked her. About 3 weeks later, I was invited to a Super Day. Not a lot of information about the position or the company could be found online, so I struggled a little to prepare for the interview. The Superday was incredibly long, compared to other bank superdays I have attended. It was from 8:00am-5:00pm. It started with a networking reception and ended with one, with 3 interviews with MDs, a group activity, and a panel with first-year analysts. The day consisted of 3 interviews (Rejection email around 1 month after I attended the SuperDay. It said "Dear Candidate FirstName" (yes, they attempted to personalize but left in the 'candidate first name') and the subject line was "Your application has been unsuccessful" which I found very unprofessional and unseasoned. I have never received a rejection email so rude and unprofessional. The company boasts that they are "nicer" than most investment banks, but I disagree with this characterization of themselves.
