I initially applied via LinkedIn to an originations analyst role within the LatAm team at CA-CIB. However, following my application, I received an email where I was asked to interview for a Real Estate Analyst position - I do not have experience in real estate but I do have experience working with LatAm based companies, so I was confused as to why I was being offered an interview for this role. Ultimately, after a call with one of their recruitment leads and communication with an HR coordinator regarding confirmation of the interview/details of when the interview would be scheduled, I was ghosted by the hiring team.
