Interview
It was a contract-based role, and the HR team was prompt in their responses, although there was a minor issue when scheduling the initial technical interview. After rescheduling, the interviewer was very kind and professional. The questions asked included:
- Explaining OOP concepts with examples.
- Discussing the differences between MySQL and MongoDB.
- Clarifying the differences between git merge and git rebase and when to use each.
- Solving an easy Leetcode problem: 344 (Reverse String).
- Writing an SQL query.
I passed the technical interview and it was an easy one but did not progress beyond the next round, which was an interview with the IT manager that focused on behavioral questions. There were no follow-up emails afterward, but I chose not to pursue it further as I wasn’t very interested in the role.
