I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at CubeSmart Self Storage (Phoenix, AZ) in Sept 2014
Interview
After I applied for the position I was called by a recruiter and then told I could expect a call back to schedule the interview if the company was interested. A few days later I did get a call back and got to pick a date and time for my interview. The entire process was really smooth. The man who did my interview was very friendly and really treated the interview as a time to tell me more about the company and let me ask questions about the position. It did not feel like an interrogation. I was told I would receive a call back by that same night. Sure enough I did get a call back and was sent a formal job offer by email.
That being said, the manager who hired me is no longer with the company. The new manager for our district conducts some of the worst interviews I have ever heard. My experience was great but future people in this district will not have a positive experience.

Question 1
How do you deal with a difficult customer? Provide an example.
Super Easy and laid back interview with a DM. Arrived on time, Basically told about the building, etc. The Dm was nice enough, the manager in the building was nice. I got the feeling they just wanted the position filled with whoever applied.

The interview process was quick and easy. Took place on a zoom call with the district manager, not a group interview. The questions asked were not too difficult and pretty straight forward.
