The behavioral round was STAR-format focused — expect questions around problem-solving, handling setbacks, and cross-functional collaboration. The technical round touched on embedded systems, hardware design, and diagnostics fundamentals. No curveballs, just solid depth. What stood out: interviewers took time to explain what the team actually works on, which made it easy to assess fit honestly. Timeline and communication were clear throughout. Tips: Know your projects cold, be ready to go deep on technical tradeoffs, and come with real questions about the team's work. Cummins seems to value engineers who can own problems end-to-end.
