It was phone call and then one-time interview in person that took roughly 1.5 hours.
During an interview I was showen the entire facility, production lines and other departments. During or facility walk-through hiting manager either explained how this or that machine works, or asked me about team management, quality assurance and lean manufacturing. It was a nice experience overall.
Around 2 weeks after, I received a call and was offered a job, which I accepted with no hesitation!
HOWEVER, they started to string along with documents and I did not hear from them for another week or so. I felt that something was not right. Fortunately, I got a better job offer from another company and accepted it, because on my (supposedly) starting day they called me back and said the following:
"I have bad news for you. The person whom you were about to replace decided NOT TO LEAVE (what??). We had to reconsider and we cannot offer you a job".
Well... your decision, Curtis Packaging.
For future candidates, please be aware that they can turn you down anytime. Good luck!
