      Interview

Interview process wasn't super difficult, but seemed like they wanted to hire someone fast. Had three separate interviews- one with the director, and the last two were different property managers on the team. All pretty basic.

      Property Administrator Interview

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield (Dallas, TX) in May 2022

      Interview

I had a virtual informal style interview with 3 of the property managers. It was about 40 minutes long and by far the most comfortable I’ve felt during an interview. They asked me questions like, “What are your current hobbies?”, “What’s a show you could binge watch over and over again?”, “What’s your biggest pet peeve?”, and “What’s one word you would use to describe yourself?” They wanted to get to know me and see if I would be a good fit for their team. It went really well and I got to know them each a little bit more as well. And that made me more interested in working with them. I was then asked if I’d like to do an in person interview with their Director. The in person interview was over an hour and a half long but time flew by. The Director was very kind a witty. He told me more about the position and what it entails. He specifically said that my resume stood out because of my experience working in a restaurant. He said food service people typically do well in this position. We had really good conversation. Then he gave me a tour of the building and asked me if this is something I was interested in. I said I was very interested and he offered me the job. Although I had no experience working in commercial property management, he said everything can be taught. The biggest thing is more your personality and how you vibe with everyone else on the team. So I would encourage people to let your personality shine, rather than trying to come up with the perfect answer to a question if the answer isn’t authentic/genuine.
