Very poor experience. Applied to a role where I shared the same exact title from my last role and was a very qualified candidate. After ten days not hearing anything, I reached out to 2 internal recruiters requesting a status update, but never received a response. Followed up a week later, again with no response.
Now entering the 4th week, found & reached out to a different recruiter who did respond back and was good enough to pass my status request to the assigned recruiter and told me I should hear back.
Less than 10 minutes later, I received an automated rejection email and they took the role down from their website!
Either the role was already spoken for internally, or they closed the headcount & canceled the role. Either way, there's no excuse for treating a candidate this way, especially when they take the time and effort to reach out to expressing their interest and asking for a status update. It's just common decency.
I asked for feedback as to why I was not shortlisted when my resume aligned extremely well with the role description (ATS score of 94% match). But to no surprise I did not receive an answer.
