Apply online via the website for the company. I applied by emailing the head of HR with my resume and cover letter and 3 references. If interested they will call you in for interview to evaluate your mental health, experience in the field and with the age group. They are always in need of sub's and respite workers in both the schools and the houses so unless there are specific reasons they will most likely hire you as a sub. If you are interested in subbing you can work up to 60 hours (extreme scenario) but at least get 15 hours a week if you work the shifts they give. The woman who interviews is very kind and honest, social work is not well funded by the state and the rate of pay is very low but the people who work there are trying to do great things with the resources they have.
