I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at CyraCom (Phoenix, AZ) in Dec 2015
Interview
The process is very detailed and organized. Take into consideration they hire in large volume, I think their interview system is good to really find out if you are truly bilingual.
They call you or send you an e-mail to set the first interview.
They are puntual and to the point with the questions.
You really need to feel confortable doing live translations, PRACTICE before the interview if you do not do translations or speak two languages on a daily basis.
There are three phone calls for different interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your self. Speak three minutes in the target language.
Describe what you would do during a trip abroad. 1-3 minutes. English and in the other target language.
You will have to answer in both languages, changing between them following their pace.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at CyraCom (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jul 2025
Interview
The recruiter was 7 minutes late. She told me about the job, asked me what sort of experience I have interpreting, etc. (you'll find the specific questions posted already). I had a good interview. She cut me short and ended the meeting while I said goodbye, no time for that!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CyraCom (Houston, TX) in Aug 2022
Interview
It was quite a short interview process. It was one initial phone interview, you an eligibility exam, and if you pass and meet their requirements, you get the offer letter. Easy and quick!
