If you know the basics of being a librarian, the job interview is pretty straightforward. The interviews are scored and determine if you are hired. They do not disclose what the scoring process is.

Panel interview with several librarians and senior staff. I was asked to do a book talk about a recent book that I had read. The panel was intimidating because one of the staff members looked bored by all of my responses.
