I took a questionnaire that claimed it would take 15 minutes to complete. 45 minutes later I’m pulling my hair out in frustration at how long and tedious the questionnaire actually is. It was quite possibly the worst skills/aptitude test I’ve ever taken. Please, Don’t ever subjugate people to this test. Companies wonder why nobody wants to work for them. There is not personality test in the world that can accurately describe my personality or my thought process. There is no skill test that can determine my level of professionalism. This isn’t it Dish.

While we believe that our questionnaires provide a uniquely valuable piece of the overall hiring picture, we are sincerely sorry that you had such a negative experience with that aspect of our process. Thank you for your review. We wish you all the best.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DISH in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview was done online and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter was gracious, professional, and very easy to talk to. She had a lot of information to discuss, which is good as she was thorough in making sure I, as a candidate, knew what I was getting into. So, communication and honesty were emphasized, which helped me in making my decision. Most of the interview was reviewing DISH culture and policies and ensuring I understood them. She then asked approximately 3 situational questions and a few relatively personal questions to get to know more about my personality. They weren't difficult questions, but should be answered in STAR format. I believe one of them was about learning a new skill and applying it in the context of customer service. This interview was one of the better ones that I have experienced in my life, so I don't really have anything negative or critical to say.
