I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at DP World in Feb 2024
Interview
Online assessment with a cognitive test and a work alignment test.
The cognitive test had 3 parts, all with time restrictions:
1-Spatial intelligence. So you have an empty grey shape made of squares and you have to fill it with the Tetris pieces they give you. You can rotate the pieces and the difficulty increases, having different grey shapes and 4-6 tetris pieces.
2-Bubbles with math. At the bottom of the screen, they show ONE number, like 3, 27 or -34. Then, bubbles appear on the screen with math operations like 2+1, 64-11 or (3+8)x2. You have to click the bubbles their result are equal to the number shown at the bottom of the screen. These bubbles appear for 3 seconds and then burst, also, as the level goes up you have more and more bubbles coming and going.
3-Identify errors in texts. They give you a text and you have to spot 10-20 (depending on the level) spelling, punctuation and grammar mistakes.
The work alignment test are 20 sentences and you have to sort them in groups of 4 according to how important is for you. In the end you have 5 groups going from Least important to Very important. I leave some examples below:
-I could try my own ideas
-I would not feel pressure to do things that go against my sense of right and wrong.
- The job provides opportunity for advancement
-I would be fairly treated in the organisation
-The job has good working conditions
-I could work alone

What DP World Says: Official Graduate Programme (“GROW”) Process
For their SSA GROW graduate programme, DP World lists 4 stages:
Online application — submit degree, personal info, and choose interests/streams.
Video screening — record answers to a few general/high-level questions; this is an asynchronous interview.
Online testing — tests for cognitive ability, personality traits, and “workplace fit.”
Site visit & assessment centre — face-to-face, working in real job/project environments, hearing from business leaders. Realistic simulation of tasks and maybe rotations.
After that, if successful, a formal offer will be made.
