I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita
Interview
Applied online but never got called even though I have years of experience and a background in intensive care. Then, a friend gave me the phone number to a recruiter who I called and finally set me up for an interview. The interview was with a very young registered dietitian who was the site manager. I could tell right off the bat that she didn't like me. the interview was very quick probably the shortest interview I've ever had. I'm almost 60 years old and interviewing with a 22 year old who was not a registered nurse and who had no life experience was not a good fit for me.

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at DaVita (Costa Mesa, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
Over the phone interview, very chill. After the interview, they invited me for a job preview to come in for one hour in the hospital - meet the team, get a tour, put on the floor with a nurse, and shadow, and see what they go through, and see the pt’s. If everyone agrees yes, then they present formal offer.
