Databricks Vice President interview questions

This was a confidential search so not disclosing the function. After initial conversations and doing some back-channelling, the group that this role was supposed to lead is supposedly in shambles, very low morale, pending imminent churn across teams, etc. I asked why a specific director is not being considered for a higher level scope, it was obvious that this was the reason why the search was confidential. Most of interviewers were very nice and polite, one person showed up 10 min late, was very disengaged, and left 5 min early. Most importantly, this recruiting team NEVER followed up with me, it was like I was a bad date. Horrible experience for somebody at my level. No matter, I got the job that I was really looking for.
